On July 2nd D.J.'s Grandma Kearney passed away after a battle congestive heart failure. She was in hospice care for nearly two weeks. She was strong, faithful, and caring about everyone else all the way until the end. Below are pictures from when we went to see her last July, that was the first time she had met Alex. She loved him just as she did all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren...with all her heart. 
Although we were all very sad to say goodbye to Grandma, we knew she had an amazing faith in Christ and is in a much better place. This gave us the time to spend the time with the ones we love most. Family was very important to Grandma and she wanted us all to stick together.

Alex got to play with his cousins and see his uncles and aunts.

So sorry to hear about your grandma, D.J. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your tribute to her is beautiful, and it's wonderful to see the happiness that came from you and your family being together in honor of her.
