Let's start from the beginning: D.J. accepted a position as an Application Specialist at LSS Data Systems in Minnetonka, MN providing services to doctors' clinics that use the LSS medical records software. This is a lot different than the athletic training that he was doing in Wisconsin Rapids but is better because he no longer has to cover games and more potential for growth. Julie took a position working for another Ameriprise Financial Advisor in Eden Prairie as his Paraplanner - basically running his practice. She has had her work cut out for her getting his practice up to speed but is really enjoying it.
The same week we started our jobs we got, and accepted, an offer on our house in Plover. The house closed the end of April so we have been very busy packing and moving. After looking at a number of houses in the Twin Cities we found that we could get exactly what we wanted by building a house as we would have by buying an existing home that we didn't like without spending any more. So within a week we accepted the offer on our house and signed a contract to build our new home in Waconia which is scheduled to be done in August.
